The AISA policy has not changed. Since
the State of Alabama has changed their policy, then a senior student must have
passed all required (by the state) parts of the graduation exit test. These required parts include Reading and Math and one
section of the three remaining sections.
Rebecca Mims, Education Specialist for Assessment and Accountability, at
the Alabama State Department of Education, has notified us that non-public
school students may not take the Alabama High School Graduation Exam (AHSGE)
unless their non-public school chooses to have all students tested.
