DRAGONTAIL WORKSHOPS:
The final two (2) DragonTail Workshops are scheduled for May 14 and 17, 2002. Attendance
is required for all AISA members. Please complete the Registration
Form have on file at the AISA office by May 1, 2002.
Each member is encouraged to select their most qualified technology person and enroll him/her in one of the "DragonTail" workshops.

CHORAL WEEKEND WAS GREAT FOR THE AISA:
AISA Choral students represented the Association and the participating school
Friday and Saturday.
The Honor Chorus, conducted by Mr. David Ayers, Choral Director, Alabama
Southern Community
College, performed very difficult music to perfection. Most Outstanding
Students were: Shawn Lackey of Cornerstone Christian School (Male Student)
and Scarlet Ohara of Mobile Christian School (Female Student). The
Festival choirs received the following overall ratings. (I = Superior; II
= Excellent; and III = Good)

ATTENTION BASEBALL / SOFTBALL COACHES:
Baseball and Softball regular season gate prices are
$3.00 Adults / $2.00 Students and Tournament prices are
$4.00 Adults / $3.00 Students.
BASEBALL COACHES:
A pitcher has to rest two days after he pitches 7 innings. Example:
If he pitches on Monday for 7 innings he must
rest Tuesday and Wednesday.
SOFTBALL TO BE USED IN STATE TOURNAMENT:
The Softball that the AISA will use in the State Tournament will be the
Worth-Hot Seam-Red Dot Leather - Cor. 47 PX-2RYL
Macon-East Montgomery Academy will host the State JV baseball tournament
April 19th and 20th. All records should be turned in by
April 11th to Glynn Lott, at MEMA. The tournament will be a single
elimination. The number of teams will be determined at a later date,
considering the number of fields available.

The Final 8 Volleyball Tournament will be held on October
28-29, 2002.
TRACK:
Morgan Academy
will be hosting track meets on the following dates: April 8 and
April 15. Entry fee is $30.00
per school meet. Call Coach Robinson for specific information at (334)
875-9466. A Scratch Meeting is scheduled for
12:30 p.m. prior to each event. The field events will start at 1:00 p.m.
GOLF:
ATTENTION GOLF COACHES:
The AISA State Golf Championship will be held on April 29
and 30, 2002, at Robert Trent Golf Course in
Greenville.

The AISA State Golf Tournament will play the next two years on the Robert Trent
Jones Golf Courses.
The courses that the AISA will play is the Loblolly and Canyon.
Policy of the AISA: Spectators will not be allowed to use golf
carts at the State Golf Tournament.
